Induction Session: Open Access Risograph Printing
Join Rachel, designer & founder of Hot Pink Press, for a group induction which aims to familiarise you with our Risograph printing facilities. Once you have completed an induction, you can book open access printing sessions and use our studio to print your project.
Dates
Wednesday 30th October 6-7:30pm
Thursday 21st November 6-7:30pm (last induction of the year)
During the induction you will learn:
How to operate the Risograph printer & switch drum colours
How to send files or use scanner bed to make artwork
Basic troubleshooting & file set up
Our trimming, finishing & paper options
How to book an Open Access session & how our pricing works
Please note that as this is an induction, individual artwork will not be printed.
The induction session is aimed at those who already have an understanding of the Riso printing process. You don’t have to have used a Riso printer before, but do need an understanding of how it works and basic understanding of file set up. Our Risograph sample pack is included in the price of this induction.
If you are new to Risograph printing, we suggest you book onto one of our workshops, which introduce you to the process in more depth.
If you’re not sure if this Open Access induction is right for you, please get in touch with us via email for advice.
Our open access printing sessions are great for those who want to expand their Riso printing experience and create artwork in a supportive environment. To read more about Open Access printing at Hot Pink Press, please visit our dedicated page here.
